Edit Menu

  • Undo – Takes back the last step performed in Montax Imposer.
  • Redo – Performs the last step that was taken back using Undo.
  • Select all positions – Selects all positions (objects are selected in the mode Edit Custom Objects).
  • Deselect all – Deselects all positions on a sheet.
  • Edit Numbering & Custom Objects, Add custom object, Duplicate or delete object – You can find more details in the chapter Numbering & Custom Objects.
  • Repeat all pages from beginning if needed – if you use numbering or variable data and there are not enough pages for imposition to reach the end number or end of variable data, only the last page or all pages from beginning will be repeated.
  • Delete page from position – Removes page assigned to a position, which will then be empty.
  • Position size and page properties – allows you to adjust the position size to fit the page at this position and also set properties of the page at this position.
  • Rotate position right/left/180° – If a position is selected, it will be rotated left, right or by 180°. If no position is selected, the entire sheet is rotated.
  • Rotate back side position(s) 180° – If a position is selected, the back side of the position will be rotated by 180°. If no position is selected, it affects all positions.
  • Reset all rotations and corrections – Sets all positions to be upright and zeros all paper thickness corrections. These settings only affect pages on the imposition sheet and have no effect on the page rotation settings in the Pages for Imposition Palette.
  • Duplicate imposition / Duplicate positions – These settings are, again, affected by position selection. They duplicate either selected rows (columns) or the whole imposition.
  • Delete selected rows / columns – Deletes all rows (columns) containing at least one selected position. At least one row (column) will be left. The duplicate and delete items are slightly modified in the Free layout mode, as this mode works with positions instead of rows and columns.
  • Settings – Allows the user to edit the program settings.
  • Shortcut settings – Shortcuts used to control various features of Montax Imposer can be customized in this menu.
  • Watched folder settings – Only available in the ProHot edition, these settings adjust hot folder features.
  • Save/Load settings – Allows you to save the current settings, restore them or reset them.
